First Aid/CPR Training Course

This course is a comprehensive program designed to ensure participants are trained to provide first-aid or urgent help to anyone injured or sick even before professional help reaches.

Training for first-aid

What the course entails?

Saving Life: The first thing to bear in mind in case of emergency situations is your own safety after which you can provide help to those around you. The first step while training candidates, experts teach the things that should be checked before anything else such as proper ventilation, and air circulation in the area that you intend to carry out any first-aid procedure.

Preventive measures: The training also involves teaching to assess the surroundings and monitor the casualty or sick person’s injury or sickness. Catering to life-threatening conditions should be the priority. Never move a casualty unless it is absolutely necessary.

Focus on recovery: The main purpose of the first-aid training program is to teach candidates how to carry out the procedures with confidence. The most important thing a first-aid provider should focus on is alleviating stress, anxiety and discomfort of the person in distress. Console and provide reassurance to the patient and do not delay in arranging for emergency medical assistance.

Understanding CPR
Also known as Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, this is considered a life-saving technique and an imperative in life-threatening situations such as cardiac arrests, drowning etc. The technique which is performed manually seeks to save the brain functions until further steps are taken to restore the regular blood circulation and breathing in the person who is facing a cardiac arrest. The procedure is administered to people who are unconscious, not breathing or do not show signs of a pulse.

The CPR technique is an important procedure to learn especially for people in the healthcare sector and other industries. It should be noted that administering CPR will not restart the functions of the heart, but it tries to restore the partial flow of oxygenated blood to reach the brain and other important organs in the body.
